How long until I receive an admission decision?
All complete applications are reviewed within 10 working days. You will be notified by email with a formal admission letter.
Can I transfer credits from another institution?
Yes. DOIM has a credit transfer policy. Submit your transcripts during application and our Academic Registrar will assess your credit transfer request.

What are the entry requirements for the MBA?
A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised institution, minimum 2nd Class Lower Division. Professional experience is advantageous.
What is the student-to-lecturer ratio?
DOIM maintains small cohort sizes to ensure personalised attention. Every student is assigned a personal academic advisor throughout their studies.

How much does it cost to apply?
A non-refundable application fee of UGX 100,000 (or USD 30 for international applicants) applies. Semester tuition ranges from UGX 600,000 (Certificate) to UGX 1,200,000 (Master's / Postgraduate Diploma) per semester.
How do I pay my tuition fees?
You can pay via MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, bank transfer, Western Union, or MoneyGram. Our finance team provides payment instructions after admission.

What devices can I use for the LMS?
The DOIM LMS is fully responsive — access from any smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop with a stable internet connection.
Are lectures recorded?
Yes. All live sessions are recorded and made available on the LMS within 24 hours. You are never required to attend live sessions — though they are strongly recommended.

Do international students need a visa?
No. All DOIM programmes are 100% online — you study from your home country without travelling to Uganda. No visa is required.

Is there a student support service?
Yes. DOIM offers academic advising, counselling, ICT support, career development, a digital library, and an alumni network — all included in your tuition.

Can I study at DOIM while working full-time?
Yes — DOIM is specifically designed for working professionals. All content is available 24/7 through our LMS. Most students dedicate 8–12 hours per week to their studies.
Is the DOIM degree recognised internationally?
DOIM's academic programmes are delivered in partnership with accredited universities. Prospective students are encouraged to confirm the specific accreditation status of their chosen programme with the Admissions Office.
