Credit Transfer & Recognition of Prior Learning
Your previous education should count. DOIM's Credit Transfer policy allows you to apply your prior academic achievements towards your qualification β saving time and reducing tuition costs.
What is Credit Transfer?
Credit Transfer allows students who have already completed relevant academic studies at a recognised institution to have those credits counted towards their DOIM programme. This means you may be able to skip certain modules or be admitted to an advanced stage of your chosen programme.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) extends this to include professional experience, non-formal training, and workplace learning β allowing practitioners with extensive relevant experience to gain academic credit even without formal qualifications at that level.
Important Note
Credit transfer is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Not all prior qualifications will qualify for credit, and the amount of credit awarded varies depending on the relevance and level of previous study. Contact DOIM Admissions to get a preliminary assessment.
